La Mesa House Exterior

H.A. family, the owners of a house in La Mesa asked us to paint the exterior of their house. Last painting was done 14 years ago. As shown in photos, the house East side wood panels were peeling and weatherized due to direct sunlight exposure and rain moisture. The six other paint layers behind the existing yellow paint were dark green, blue, white, green, brown, and white as the original first coat of paint.

After pressure washing, extensive prep work such as heavy scraping and sanding were done. The damaged wood panels were patched with wood filler and bondo. Also stucco damages and cracks were fixed. After priming all repaired areas, gray color sample for walls and white for trims (Windows, Fascias and Gutters) were painted. Upon owners approval two coats of Evershield exterior paint by Dunn-Edwards were painted.
As an accent color a vibrant yellow was chosen for window shutters.

The color theme came out very nice. The owners were very happy with neighbors positive comments on how nice their house looks.
